Prevent GUI Scaling Changes When Toggling Fullscreen
How Fullscreen Affects Scaling
When you press F11 or toggle fullscreen mode, your effective window resolution changes. GUI Scaler Mod detects this resolution shift and may automatically rescale your menus to match the new display size.
Use AUTO Mode for Consistency
If you frequently switch between windowed and fullscreen, enable AUTO mode. This mode applies standardized scales based on common resolution ranges, so your menus will scale predictably whether you're in windowed or fullscreen mode.
Create Matching Custom Rules
If you prefer CUSTOM mode, set identical scale values for both your windowed resolution and your fullscreen resolution. This way, toggling fullscreen won't trigger a noticeable menu resize.
For example:
- Windowed at 1920×1080 → scale 2
- Fullscreen at 1920×1080 → scale 2
Test by toggling fullscreen several times to ensure your menus remain the same size and remain readable in both modes.
