GSit Plugin FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I sit down?
Use the command /sit while standing on a block, or right-click on top of a stair, slab, or carpet block to sit automatically. You can customize which blocks are siteable in the config file.
Can I sit on any block or only stairs?
By default you can sit on stairs, slabs, and carpets, but you can create a custom list of materials in the config to allow sitting on almost any block you want.
How do I lay down or belly flop?
Use /lay to lay down on a block or /bellyflop to belly flop; both commands work on any block you specify in the config. You can also right-click on blocks if that feature is enabled.
What's the difference between lay and belly flop?
Lay places your character in a horizontal resting position, while belly flop is a more dramatic diving animation onto the ground or block.
How do I crawl?
Use the /crawl command to move along the ground in a crawling position; you can walk normally while crawling and stand up by using the command again or jumping.
Can I sit on other players?
Yes, if enabled in the config, you can right-click another player to sit on them and stack multiple players together.
Do I need a resource pack for snoring?
No, the mod includes built-in snoring sounds for laying players without requiring any resource pack.
Does this work with my claim plugin?
GSit supports GriefPrevention, PlotSquared, and WorldGuard, so sitting respects the protection rules of those plugins.
Why can't I sit in certain areas?
You may be in a protected region where sitting is disabled, or the block type isn't on your server's siteable materials list in the config.
Will this mod cause lag?
GSit is designed for very good performance and has minimal impact on server resources, even with many players sitting simultaneously.
