Scanner Basics

The Health Scanner is a handheld tool that reveals health information for nearby players and villagers within approximately twelve blocks. This gives you tactical awareness before engaging.

Using the Scanner

1. Equip the Health Scanner from your inventory.

2. Look toward a player or villager and activate the scanner (typically by right-clicking or using a designated key).

3. Read the health display that appears on your screen. This shows current health levels for all valid targets in range.

Tactical Applications

Use the scanner before committing to combat to identify which enemies are wounded or at full strength. Prioritize low-health targets to eliminate threats efficiently. Scan your own team to quickly assess who needs medical attention without asking. In multiplayer survival, the scanner helps coordinate focus fire—call out high-priority targets based on their health levels. Keep the scanner accessible during raids or PvP encounters for real-time battlefield intelligence.
