Grim Reaper Arsenals Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I craft my first scythe?
Gather Diamond or Netherite ingots along with a stick, then use a crafting table to combine them into a scythe. Diamond scythes are your entry point; upgrade to Netherite once you've found enough ore in the Nether.
What's the difference between a scythe and a double axe?
Scythes pull enemies toward you on hit, making them great for crowd control and closing distance. Double axes deal faster multi-sided attacks without the pull effect, favoring aggressive sustained combat.
How do I change my scythe's skin?
Hold your scythe, sneak (press Shift), and right-click on a Smithing Table to cycle through available skins like Cake, Bone, Wooden, and Copper. Each right-click rotates to the next design.
Can I climb walls with the double axe or only the claws?
Only the combat claws let you scale vertical walls and surfaces. Double axes are purely melee weapons and won't grant climbing ability.
Do the custom enchantments like Boomerang actually work?
Yes, custom enchantments such as Boomerang and Climb are designed to enhance your weapons' mechanics beyond vanilla enchants. Apply them through normal enchanting methods to unlock their unique effects.
What happens if I pull a mob with my scythe near a cliff?
The mob will be pulled directly toward you regardless of terrain, so use caution near edges—you can accidentally pull enemies (and yourself) into danger if you're not positioned carefully.
Can I use claws to climb while holding other items?
You must have the claws equipped in your hand to climb; holding them in your offhand or inventory won't grant wall-scaling ability.
Are there any weapons stronger than Netherite tier?
Netherite is the highest tier currently available in this mod. Focus on enchanting and customizing your Netherite weapons for maximum power.
Do scythe skins affect weapon damage or stats?
Skins are purely cosmetic and don't change damage, attack speed, or any mechanical properties—they're just visual customization at the Smithing Table.
Why can't I pull mobs with my scythe sometimes?
Some mobs may be too heavy or resistant to the pull effect, or you might not have landed a direct hit. Make sure you're actually connecting with the enemy and not attacking from too far away.
