Stop Neighbors From Building Too Close to Your Base

Set Minimum Distance Between Claims

Your server admin can enforce a buffer zone around all player claims, but you can also grant trusted neighbors permission to build closer.

1. Identify the player you want to allow near your borders

2. Type /neighbortrust <player> (replace <player> with their username)

3. That player can now build in the minimum distance zone around your claim

Understanding Claim Spacing

Your server has a configured minimum distance rule that forces empty space between all player claims. This keeps the map from feeling cramped and prevents griefing attempts at claim borders.

Check how much space you need by typing /claim distance check—this shows the exact buffer zone size.

Granting neighbor trust is useful for:

  • Letting friends build right next to you
  • Creating shared community areas
  • Allowing allies to expand without waiting for staff approval

You can revoke trust later by using the same command again. This gives you control over your neighborhood without needing server staff intervention.
