Enable Glowing Eyes on Monsters

Access Resource Pack Settings

Glowing eyes are a key visual feature of this pack, but they may need to be enabled depending on your setup. Open your resource pack folder and locate the Gray's Monster Overhaul pack.

Check Your Game Version

Make sure your Minecraft version is compatible with the pack. The glowing eye feature works best on recent versions. If eyes aren't glowing in dark caves, try adjusting your graphics settings:

  • Set Graphics to Fancy (not Fast)
  • Ensure Emissive Textures are enabled if your launcher supports this option
  • Confirm the resource pack is positioned at the top of your resource pack list in settings

Verify Pack is Active

Go to Options > Resource Packs and confirm Gray's Monster Overhaul is in the "Selected" column, not the available list. The pack must be active for any visual changes to appear.

If glowing eyes still don't show, the pack may be conflicting with another resource pack. Try disabling other packs temporarily to test. Mobs like Endermen, Spiders, and Creepers should display bright, glowing eyes when the feature is working correctly.
