Gravestone Graves FAQ

It adds gravestones that spawn where a player, villager, dog, cat or horse dies. Gravestones store your items and information about your death, and the mod also generates cemeteries in villages and a Wither's catacombs structure.

It registers 145 items and blocks, including grave stones, celtic crosses, crosses, grave plates, dog grave stones and cat grave stones in materials like diamond, gold, iron, stone, obsidian, quartz and more. It also adds one enchantment, Soulbound.

You can destroy the grave or click on it with a shovel in your hand, which returns your items without destroying the grave.

Gravestones can be picked up and placed on diggable blocks, but all the stored information is only saved if you pick it up with a silk touch pickaxe.

By default everyone has access to your grave, but this can be changed in the configuration so graves can only be looted by their owner. Graves also can't be destroyed by other players while they still contain items.

Click on a gravestone with a flower in your hand to plant it, and click again with shears to remove it. Moss appears when you die in a jungle or swamp, or you can make it mossy by clicking with vines in hand and shear it off the same way.

Soulbound is the one enchantment added by Gravestone Graves. It is listed among the mod's enchantments on the wiki.

It is a huge structure like a stronghold where you can find loot, dangerous adventures and a Wither Boss at the end. Creeper memorials can also be found there.

Memorials are decorative blocks that generate randomly in the world and can show a message. They come in several types and materials, can be made mossy, and player memorials can be obtained with the /gs getStatue command.

It adds skeleton, zombie and spider spawners, each spawning only mobs appropriate to its type, plus a boss Wither spawner that is used once to summon the Wither boss. All spawners can be crafted unless disabled in the config.
