Navigate the Spider Cellar Safely
Approach with Caution
The spider cellar is one of the most dangerous areas in the house. Before entering, ensure you know the enemy's current location. Listen at the cellar entrance for any sounds indicating the threat is nearby.
Move Through Quickly
The mossy floors and confined spaces make this area ideal for ambushes. Don't linger to admire the scenery. Identify your objective—usually a key or item—and move directly toward it. Avoid dead ends where the enemy can trap you.
Use Vertical Escape Routes
The cellar often has multiple levels or crawlspace openings. Memorize these exits before you need them. If the enemy enters while you're exploring, use these vertical routes to escape upward into less dangerous areas of the house.
Timing Is Everything
Visit the spider cellar when you've heard the enemy in a distant part of the house. This gives you a time window to search and escape. Never venture here without a clear exit strategy.
