Understand the Increased Threat

In Impossible Mode, the enemy moves twice as fast as normal, making traditional hiding and slow exploration impossible. You must adopt an aggressive, speed-focused strategy rather than a cautious one.

Memorize the Layout First

Before attempting Impossible Mode, complete the standard difficulty multiple times. Learn exactly where every key is located, which doors lead where, and the fastest routes through the house. This knowledge is essential—you won't have time to explore.

Execute a Speedrun Strategy

Plan your route to collect all five keys in the most efficient order. Move at full speed between locations. Don't backtrack unnecessarily. The faster you complete objectives, the less time the enemy has to intercept you.

Use Sound to Your Advantage

With the enemy moving faster, audio cues become even more critical. Listen constantly for their position. When you hear them nearby, sprint to your next objective rather than hiding. Hiding rarely works in Impossible Mode—speed and momentum are your best defenses.

Accept Risk

You will likely encounter the enemy multiple times. Prepare for the custom death scene, learn from each attempt, and refine your route.
