Enable Gradient Clouds in Your World

Check Your Video Settings

Gradient Clouds only work when clouds are set to Fancy mode. This is essential—without it, you'll see standard vanilla clouds instead.

1. Open your pause menu and go to Options

2. Select Video Settings

3. Find the Clouds option

4. Change it from Fast to Fancy

5. Close the menu and look up at the sky

You should now see clouds with a smooth vertical fade effect instead of solid blocks.

Verify the Effect

The gradient should be most visible when you're standing on the ground looking up—the bottom of clouds will appear solid while the top fades to transparent. If you don't see the effect, double-check that Fancy clouds are enabled. The pack requires this setting to function properly.

Compatibility Note

This pack uses vanilla core shaders and will not work with Sodium or other rendering optimization mods that replace the shader system. If you're using Sodium, you'll need to remove it to see the gradient effect.
