Appreciate Gradient Clouds in Different Biomes and Times of Day
Visit Multiple Biomes
The gradient effect looks different depending on your environment and lighting conditions. The pack works universally across all biomes, but the visual impact varies:
- Desert and Mesa biomes create striking contrasts during sunset, with warm colors bleeding through the fading clouds
- Ocean biomes show the gradient clearly against the blue sky
- Forest and jungle biomes create softer, more diffused effects due to denser foliage below
Watch Clouds at Different Times
The gradient is most dramatic during sunrise and sunset when the sky has vibrant colors. During midday, the effect is subtler but still visible as a soft fade from opaque to transparent.
Fly at Various Heights
Try positioning yourself at different altitudes relative to the cloud layer:
- Standing on high mountains puts you closer to clouds, making the gradient more pronounced
- Flying well above the clouds shows the inverted effect clearly
- Viewing from sea level gives you the classic upward-looking perspective
Each position reveals how the pack adapts the fade direction based on your location.
