Set Up Translation for a Specific Language

Access the Configuration Menu

Open your mod settings or configuration file for Google Chat Mod. This is typically found in your mod config folder or accessible through an in-game settings menu, depending on your mod loader.

Select Your Target Language

Locate the language setting and choose the language you want all chat messages translated to and from. Google Translate supports most major languages, so select whichever language your server or playstyle requires.

Verify Bidirectional Translation

Confirm that both incoming (messages you receive) and outgoing (messages you send) translation are enabled. This ensures:

  • Messages from other players are translated into your chosen language when they appear in chat
  • Your messages are translated from your chosen language before being sent to the server

Test the Setup

Send a test message in chat and observe whether it appears translated to other players. Ask a teammate to send you a message and confirm it translates correctly on your end. If translation isn't working, verify your language selection is correct and the mod is enabled.
