Master Blockhitting to Win PvP Fights

What Blockhitting Does

Blockhitting combines sword blocking with attacking. When you block incoming damage and hit your opponent at the same time, you deal extra knockback and gain a combat advantage. This is the core mechanic that separates skilled players from casual fighters.

How to Blockhit

1. Hold right-click with your sword equipped to raise your guard and block incoming attacks. You'll see the classic blocking animation.

2. While still holding right-click, left-click rapidly to attack your opponent. Your sword will swing while the block is active.

3. Time your clicks so attacks land while you're blocking—this triggers the blockhit effect and pushes enemies back harder.

4. Release right-click only when you need to move or dodge, then immediately re-engage.

Practice Tips

• Start in singleplayer against mobs to get the timing down without pressure.
• The faster you click left-click, the more hits you land per block cycle.
• Blockhitting works best in close-range combat; maintain distance control.
• Watch your opponent's attack patterns and block preemptively before they strike.
• Combine blockhitting with strafing (moving sideways) to circle your opponent while maintaining defense.
