Goobaa Client Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open the Goobaa menu?
Press the default keybind (usually a configurable key like R or M) to open the main menu panel. You'll see a sidebar with module categories and a search bar at the top to quickly find any tool.
What's the difference between Auto Totem and Auto Inv Totem?
Auto Totem holds a totem in your offhand and triggers it when you take lethal damage, while Auto Inv Totem manages totems in your inventory and swaps them into your offhand automatically when needed. Use Auto Inv Totem if you want automatic inventory management during fights.
How do I set up weapon swap combos like mace after sword?
Enable the MaceSwap module and configure it in the module settings—it will automatically swap to a mace after your sword attack based on the timing you set. Check the tooltip hover text for specific combo timing details and adjust the delay to match your server's tick rate.
Why is my ping showing differently in Goobaa than in the pause menu?
Goobaa's Status HUD displays real-time network ping and server TPS separately, which may differ from Minecraft's built-in pause menu display due to different measurement methods. Both are accurate—Goobaa just gives you more granular network information for combat tuning.
Can I use Goobaa on servers that don't allow client mods?
No—Goobaa is a client-side mod and will be detected by anti-cheat systems on servers that forbid client modifications. Only use it on servers explicitly allowing client mods, like anarchy servers or private DonutSMP-style worlds.
How do I customize which modules appear in my HUD?
Open the Client Modules category in the Goobaa menu and toggle individual HUD elements on or off, then drag them to reposition them on your screen. Your layout and color settings save automatically to your profile.
What does FakeLag do and why would I use it?
FakeLag artificially delays your position updates to opponents, making you harder to hit in PvP by creating a desync effect. Use it carefully on servers where it's allowed, as it affects how other players see your movement.
My armor durability numbers aren't showing above my hotbar—how do I enable them?
Check the Status HUD settings in Client Modules and make sure the armor durability indicator is toggled on. If it's on but still not visible, adjust the HUD position or scale in the same menu.
Do the Donut Modules work on other servers or just DonutSMP?
Donut Modules are specifically tuned for DonutSMP-style server mechanics and economy systems, so they may not function correctly or at all on other servers. Use the general Combat and Player modules for broader server compatibility.
How do I search for a specific module if I don't know its exact name?
Click the search bar at the top of the Goobaa menu and type a keyword—the search will filter modules by name and description in real time. Hover over results to see tooltips explaining what each module does.
