Set Up Your First Spellcasting Golem

Gather Materials and Build

Start by collecting the materials needed for a golem body using ModularGolems. You can use iron, gold, netherite, sculk, or pyrium blocks depending on your desired power level. Assemble your golem structure according to ModularGolems' building requirements.

Equip with Spells

Once your golem is built, you need to give it access to spells from Iron's Spells n Spellbooks. The golem will automatically be able to cast spells once the mod detects it has the capability. Use the command wand from ModularGolems to point at your golem and check its current mana pool and spell configuration.

Monitor Performance

Your golem will begin casting spells at hostile mobs automatically. Watch the mana bar using the command wand—different golem types have different mana capacities and refill speeds. Regular golems start with 100 max mana, while premium materials like pyrium offer 900 max mana with faster refill rates. Position your golem strategically around your base for optimal mob defense.
