Control PvP and Mob Spawning in Your Claim
Using Claim Flags
Claim flags let you customize protection rules for your specific territory. You can toggle PvP combat, mob spawning, fire spread, explosions, and weather effects on or off.
Steps
1. Stand inside the claim you want to modify
2. Type /claim flag <flag> where <flag> is the setting you want to toggle (examples: pvp, mobspawn, fire, explosions, weather)
3. The flag switches between enabled and disabled states
4. Type /claim info to see your current flag settings
Common Use Cases
- Disable PvP in your home claim to prevent accidental combat with friends
- Disable mob spawning to keep your base clear of hostile mobs
- Disable fire spread to protect wooden structures from accidental fire
- Disable explosions to prevent creeper damage
Checking Flag Status
Each claim can have different flag settings. If you own multiple claims, adjust flags individually for each one based on its purpose—your farm might allow mobs, while your home doesn't.
