The glow effect eliminates the need to carefully inspect every block, letting you mine faster and more confidently.

Strip Mining Strategy

1. Create a main tunnel at your target Y-level (e.g., Y-level -59 for diamonds, Y-level 0–64 for copper).

2. Branch off perpendicular tunnels every few blocks.

3. Scan for glows as you walk; glowing ores are instantly recognizable, so you won't miss valuable deposits.

4. Mine only the glowing blocks to save time and resources, or collect everything if you prefer.

Underwater and Nether Mining

The glow works in all environments:

• Underwater: Spot copper, gold, and other ores through murky water without placing torches.
• Nether: Navigate dark caverns and locate ancient debris faster.
• Surface mining: Find ores at night or in dark biomes without lighting the entire area.
