Make Ores Glow in Your World

How Glow Up Works

Glow Up automatically applies emissive (glowing) textures to ores in your world. Once installed, ores will emit light in dark caves and tunnels, making them much easier to spot without torches.

Seeing Glowing Ores

The mod works by default—no configuration needed. Simply explore caves and mining areas:

1. In caves and underground: Ores will glow with their own light source, visible even in complete darkness.

2. In daylight: Glowing effects are subtle but still visible on ore textures.

3. With other texture packs: Glow Up layers its emissive textures on top of compatible stone and ore packs, so your favorite visuals remain intact.

Supported Ores

Glow Up covers:

• All vanilla Minecraft ores (coal, iron, diamond, emerald, etc.)
• Ores from popular mods like Mekanism, Immersive Engineering, Mystical Agriculture, and Malum
• Special ores in dimension mods like the Aether and Alex's Caves
• Sculk blocks from the Deeper and Darker mod

If an ore isn't glowing, check that the mod supporting that ore is installed and compatible with your version.
