Customize Glow Colors and Brightness

Editing Emissive Textures

Glow Up is designed for easy customization. The pack generates glowing textures automatically, but you can modify them:

1. Locate the resource pack folder in your .minecraft/resourcepacks/ directory.

2. Find the emissive texture files (usually named with _e suffix or in an emissive folder).

3. Edit with an image editor: Open the texture file in any image editor (Photoshop, GIMP, Paint.NET, etc.).

4. Adjust brightness: Lighter pixels = brighter glow. Darker pixels = dimmer glow.

5. Change colors: Modify the color channels to make ores glow different hues.

6. Save and reload: Save the file and reload your resource packs in-game.

Tips

• Start with small adjustments to see the effect clearly.
• Test in a dark cave to evaluate brightness changes.
• Keep backups of original files before editing.
• The single-file approach means you only need to edit one image to affect all similar ores.
