How to Keep Narration Enabled Across All Your Minecraft Instances
The Global Setting Explained
Global Narration Toggle stores the narrator preference in the global .minecraft options rather than per-instance. That means once narration is on anywhere, the mod treats it as on everywhere for the purpose of the startup check.
Steps to Enable It Everywhere
1. Launch any instance and open Options → Accessibility Settings.
2. Turn the narrator on. The mod writes this to the global options file automatically.
3. Close the game normally so the file is flushed to disk.
4. Launch a different instance. The accessibility onboarding screen should now appear, confirming narration is enabled globally.
Confirming and Adjusting
- On each new instance, accept the onboarding prompt to keep narration active.
- If you want narration on but dislike the startup prompt, you can still enable it manually through Accessibility Settings after launch — the global value stays on.
- Remember that turning narration off in any single instance will update the global value and disable it for future fresh launches, so avoid toggling it off unless you mean to change it everywhere.
