It replaces the author's older mod Gilded Netherite and is based on it. Version 2.0.0 renamed the project from Gilded Netherite to Gilded Armor and removed the old Gilded Armor and Tools.
Can I turn off the gilded overlay rendering?
Yes. The mod has a RenderGildedOverlay config option to turn off the rendering, and a DoNotRenderGildedOverlay list for items that should not be rendered with an overlay.
