Get Off My Lawn ReServed Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I claim land?
Craft a Claim Anchor (Makeshift is the smallest), place it where you want, and it will protect a circular area around it. The protection radius depends on which anchor type you use—Makeshift covers 10 blocks, while better anchors like Reinforced or Crystal extend much further.
How do I see my claim boundaries?
Craft or obtain Goggles of Revealing and wear them. When you look at your claimed area, you'll see a visual boundary showing exactly where your protection ends.
Can I let my friends build in my claim?
Yes. Open your Claim Configuration UI (usually by right-clicking your anchor or using a command) and add trusted players by their username. Trusted players can build and interact with blocks in your claim.
What's the difference between the anchor types?
Each anchor type has a different protection radius: Makeshift (10 blocks), Reinforced (25 blocks), Glistening (50 blocks), Crystal (75 blocks), Emeradic (125 blocks), and Withered (200 blocks). Better anchors protect larger areas but require more resources to craft.
How do augments work?
Augments are special blocks you place near your Claim Anchor to add protective effects—like blocking Endermen, protecting villagers, or granting flight. Each augment adds a different benefit to your claim.
Can I use this mod on a server?
Yes, this is a server-side mod, so only the server needs it installed. Players don't need to install anything on their client to use claims.
What happens if someone tries to break blocks in my claim?
They won't be able to. Your claim prevents unauthorized players from breaking, placing, or interacting with blocks. Trusted players and the claim owner can always build freely.
Can I disable specific augments?
Yes. Augments can be toggled on or off individually through the mod's configuration file (getoffmylawn.json) or through the Claim Configuration UI, depending on your server setup.
Can the admin disable claims in certain areas?
Yes. Server admins can configure dimension and region blacklists in getoffmylawn.json to prevent claims from being made in specific dimensions or areas.
How do I reload the mod settings without restarting?
Use the command `/goml admin reload` to reload all settings from the configuration file without restarting the server.
