Customize Town Claim Colors and Border Styles

Access the Configuration Menu

Open your mod settings through Xaero's Minimap or World Map interface. Look for the Geopolitical Radar Extension tab to find overlay customization options.

Adjust Visual Properties

You can modify:

  • Border line color: Change the outline color of town claims to match your preference or improve visibility against your map background
  • Fill color and transparency: Adjust how opaque or transparent the claim fill appears, letting you see terrain underneath while still identifying territories
  • Border thickness: Make borders thinner for a cleaner look or thicker for better visibility at lower zoom levels
  • Edge smoothing: Toggle smooth edges for a polished appearance or sharp edges for precise claim boundaries

Apply Per-Nation Settings

Many players customize colors by nation, assigning each a distinct palette. This makes it easier to spot allied, enemy, or neutral territories at a glance during gameplay or planning sessions.

Save Your Preferences

Changes typically save automatically to your mod config folder. Test your settings by zooming in and out on different regions to ensure readability across all zoom levels.
