How to Find Fallen Trees, Boulders, and Stumps Added by Geophilic
What to Look For
Geophilic scatters small, natural-looking details across vanilla biomes rather than adding whole new biomes. The signature features are fallen logs lying across the ground, lone tree stumps, scattered boulders, low bushes, and patches of moss. Because these blend into existing forests and plains, you often walk past them without noticing.
Where to Search
Forests and taiga are the best places to spot fallen trees and stumps, since the pack leans into the scrapped Wild Update aesthetic. Boulders tend to appear in open areas like plains, meadows, and along forest edges. Moss and bush clusters show up in shaded, damp-looking spots near tree cover. Head into chunks you have never loaded before, since the pack cannot retroactively edit terrain you already explored.
Practical Tips
Fly or walk at a low altitude and scan the ground rather than the treetops. Fallen logs are horizontal and easy to mistake for a normal trunk at a glance. Stumps are short, flat-topped remnants. If you are hunting for building materials, these features give you free logs and stone without mining. Bring a shovel for moss patches and an axe for the logs. Marking coordinates of good clusters helps if you plan to return for a build.
