How to Rotate Items in Item Frames
45-Degree Rotation System
Gaia Tweaks modernizes item frame interaction by allowing items to rotate at 45-degree angles instead of just 8 fixed positions. This gives you much finer control over item display and decoration.
Steps to Rotate Items
1. Place an item frame on a wall or block
2. Place an item inside the frame by right-clicking with the item in hand
3. Right-click the frame repeatedly to rotate the item
4. Each click rotates the item by 45 degrees, giving you 8 total positions per full rotation
Tips for Item Frame Decoration
- Use this for precise alignment in decorative builds
- Combine multiple frames at different angles for visual interest
- Item frames can be placed on any solid surface—walls, floors, and ceilings
- You can rotate frames with items already inside them
- This works with all items, including tools, weapons, and decorative blocks
The 45-degree increments give you much more flexibility than vanilla Minecraft's limited rotation options, making item frame displays look more polished and intentional.
