Gabe Up Heroes Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open my character sheet?
Press your Character Sheet keybind (configurable in controls) after spawning into a new world. This opens your RPG stat screen where you can view and manage your six core attributes and genetic traits.
What's the best way to gain experience early on?
Punch mobs, mine ore blocks, and operate machinery—all three activities grant custom experience points. Focus on whichever feels natural to your playstyle; Focus stat multiplies all earned experience, so leveling that stat early accelerates progression.
Can I change my origin after I pick it?
Yes—you earn one Genetic Roll every ten levels that lets you reroll your origin or traits. You also get bonus rolls from defeating the four overworld bosses, giving you multiple chances to experiment with different powers.
What happens if I pick human instead of a superhero origin?
Human characters can craft and unlock abilities during normal survival gameplay instead of starting with innate powers. This path lets you build your character more gradually through crafting recipes rather than genetic traits.
How do the overworld bosses work?
Four scaling bosses spawn across the overworld and grow stronger as your player level increases. Defeating them grants bonus Genetic Rolls and helps you level up your traits faster than normal progression.
Which stat should I prioritize first?
It depends on your playstyle: Strength for melee damage, Dexterity for survivability and attack speed, Constitution for raw health, Agility for mobility, Focus for faster leveling, or Willpower for magic damage. Focus is a popular early choice since it multiplies all experience gains.
Do the different origins have different stat caps?
All characters can level up to level 160, but different origins have different starting stats and trait benefits—some excel at melee (Daxamite, Strontian), others at survival (Immortal, Indestructible Skin), and some at utility (Seafolk, Pseudo-Vampire).
Can I use this mod with other mods?
The mod is designed for Minecraft survival and should work with most mods, but compatibility depends on whether other mods conflict with custom experience systems or boss spawning. Check the mod's documentation or community forums for known incompatibilities.
What's the difference between Immortality and Immortal origins?
Both offer high endurance and regenerative survival traits, but they may have different stat distributions or specific ability focuses—check your character sheet after selecting each to compare their starting stats and unique benefits.
Do I lose my stats if I die?
Your character sheet and stat progression persist after death—you keep all your levels, skill points, and genetic traits, so dying doesn't set you back on character development.
