Edit NBT Data for Items in Creative Mode

Open the NBT Editor

Access the FZMM Mod menu and select the NBT editing tool. This allows you to view and modify the underlying data of any item.

Select Your Item

Hold or select the item you wish to edit from your creative inventory. The mod will display its current NBT structure in an editable format.

Modify NBT Tags

Locate the specific tags you want to change:

• Edit existing values directly
• Add new custom tags
• Remove unwanted data

Common uses include changing item names, adding enchantments, modifying durability, or setting custom attributes.

Apply Changes

Save your modifications. The item in your inventory will immediately reflect the updated NBT data. You can now use this customized item in your creative builds or testing.

Tips

The NBT editor is particularly useful for creating unique quest items, special tools, or items with custom display names and lore for adventure maps and custom maps.
