FZMM Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I open the FZMM Mod menu?
Press the designated keybind (configurable in your controls settings) to open the mod's main interface. You must be in creative mode for the menu to function.
Can I use this mod in survival mode?
No, FZMM Mod only works in creative mode since it's designed for editing and creating NBT data on items, which requires creative-mode access.
What's the difference between texture heads and model heads?
Texture heads use 2D skins applied to a standard head model, while model heads are custom 3D models with their own geometry. The mod includes both types in its default resource pack.
How do I add accessories like glasses or hats to a head?
Use the head generator interface to select your base skin, then browse the accessories menu to layer glasses, hats, masks, and other cosmetics onto your custom head.
Can I convert my own skin into pixel art or plushie style?
Yes, the mod includes transformation tools that let you convert any skin into pixel art or plushie designs. Load your skin through the mod menu and select the transformation style you want.
Do I need a resource pack for this mod to work?
The mod includes a default resource pack with 230 texture heads and 50 model heads, but you can use it without any additional packs. Custom resource packs can extend the available heads and accessories.
Why can't I see the accessories on my custom head?
Make sure your resource pack is enabled and up to date, and verify that you've applied the accessories through the mod menu before placing the head in your world.
Can I edit NBT data on items other than heads?
Yes, the mod's NBT editor works on any item in creative mode, not just heads. You can modify tags, enchantments, and other data for any item you're holding.
Does this mod work with other mods that add custom items?
FZMM Mod should be compatible with most mods since it operates on NBT data at a fundamental level, but complex custom items from other mods may have unpredictable results.
Will using this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod itself has minimal performance impact, but generating many custom heads with complex accessories or large collections in one world may affect rendering performance depending on your system.
