How to Make Textures Span Multiple Blocks
Why Spanning Matters
Some builds — large murals, big machines, patterned floors — look wrong when every block repeats the same tile. Fusion lets a single texture stretch across a group of blocks so the pattern reads as one continuous image instead of a grid of copies.
Setting Up the Span
Create your large texture and a properties file for it. In the properties file, tell Fusion the texture should span a block region rather than tile per block. Fusion then divides your image into the correct number of sub-tiles based on the span size you declare, and assigns each block in the group the right slice. The block's model must reference this texture so Fusion can intercept the UV mapping.
Aligning the Pattern
Spanning relies on block position, so the pattern anchors to world coordinates. Place your blocks and check that the image lines up across the group. If it is offset, adjust the anchor or origin value in the properties file. Rotating or mirroring the structure will not rotate the texture, so plan your build orientation before placing blocks. Reload with F3+T after each change to confirm the slices meet cleanly at block boundaries.
