See 3D Models in First-Person and Third-Person Views
First-Person (Your Hand View)
The most noticeable improvement happens when you hold items:
1. Pick up any modified item (doors, signs, torches, cauldrons, levers)
2. Look at your hand—the item should display as a thick, solid object with visible depth
3. Rotate your view slightly to see the 3D edges and frame details
4. Drop the item on the ground to see how it renders in the world
Third-Person (Spectator or F5 Camera)
To see items from outside your character:
1. Press F5 to toggle third-person camera
2. Hold an item in your hand or drop it nearby
3. Move around to view the model from different angles
4. Switch back to first-person with F5 again
Best Items to Inspect
These show the most dramatic difference from flat to 3D:
- Doors (solid frames with thickness)
- Standing signs (visible posts and boards)
- Hanging signs (chains and wood depth)
- Torches and soul torches (dimensional shapes)
- Cauldrons (detailed hollow containers)
