Launch Minecraft in Windowed Mode by Default
How It Works
FullscreeNO Mod automatically launches Minecraft in a windowed state instead of fullscreen. This happens every time you start the game—no configuration needed.
What to Expect
When you launch Minecraft with this mod installed, the game window will appear in a smaller, non-fullscreen format. You'll see the taskbar and can interact with other applications without minimizing the game window.
The window size is determined by your last session's resolution settings. If you previously played in fullscreen at 1920×1080, the windowed launch will use similar dimensions, but as a window rather than fullscreen mode.
Switching Back to Fullscreen
If you want to play fullscreen after launching in windowed mode, you have two options:
- Press F11 while in-game to toggle fullscreen instantly
- Open the Video Settings menu from the pause screen and enable fullscreen from there
Your preference will be remembered for future sessions, so if you enable fullscreen and close the game, it will launch in fullscreen next time—unless you reinstall or reconfigure the mod.
