FullscreeNO Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Why does Minecraft still launch fullscreen even with this mod installed?
Check that the mod is properly loaded by looking for it in your mods folder and verifying it appears in the mods list from the main menu. If it's installed correctly, the game should launch in a windowed state by default on your next launch.
How do I make the game fullscreen after it launches in a window?
Press F11 while in-game to toggle fullscreen, or go to Video Options in the settings menu and enable fullscreen from there.
Can I resize the window when the game launches?
Yes, you can click and drag the edges or corners of the window to resize it, or drag the title bar to reposition it on your screen.
Does this mod work with OptiFine?
The mod should work alongside Optifine, but load order and mod compatibility can vary—if you experience issues, try adjusting which mod loads first or check for any conflicting video settings.
Will this mod affect my fps or performance?
The mod is lightweight and should not noticeably impact performance, though running in windowed mode instead of fullscreen may use slightly more system resources depending on your setup.
What if I want the game to launch fullscreen again?
Simply uninstall or remove the mod from your mods folder, and Minecraft will return to its default fullscreen launch behavior.
Does the mod remember my window size and position?
The mod launches in a windowed state, but whether your custom window size and position persist depends on your Minecraft launcher and operating system settings—you may need to resize and reposition the window each session.
Can I use this mod on a server?
This mod only affects how the game client launches on your computer; it has no impact on servers and works fine whether you're playing singleplayer or multiplayer.
Does this work with Fabric and Forge?
The mod is available for both Fabric and Forge loaders, but make sure you download the version compatible with whichever loader you're using.
Why is my window launching off-screen or in a weird position?
This can happen if your display setup changed or if your previous window position was saved outside your current screen bounds—try resizing and repositioning the window manually, or check your launcher's video settings.
