Full Grown Crop Marker Mod FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I turn on the crop markers?
The mod is enabled by default once installed. Markers will automatically appear above any fully grown crops in your world. If you don't see them, check your config file to ensure the mod isn't disabled.
Can I change the color of markers for different crops?
Yes, you can customize marker colors in the mod's config file. Each crop type can have its own color assigned—for example, you could make wheat markers blue instead of yellow. The available colors include green, red, blue, yellow, orange, and purple.
How do I make the markers animated?
Open the mod's config file and look for the animation option, then set it to enabled. Animated markers will have movement or visual effects to make them stand out more on your screen.
Can I move the marker position or hide it completely?
Yes, the marker position is configurable. You can adjust where it appears above the crop (such as at the top) or disable it entirely by setting the position to 'none' in the config.
Does this mod work with crops from other mods?
The mod supports any modded crops that extend the CropsBlock class, so most crop mods should work automatically. If a specific mod's crops don't show markers, that crop may use a different system.
Do I need to install this mod on my server?
No, this is a client-side only mod. You only need to install it on your client, and it will work on any server or single-player world without requiring server-side installation.
Why aren't markers appearing on my crops?
Make sure the crops are fully mature—markers only appear on crops at their final growth stage. Also check that the mod is enabled in your config and that you're looking at vanilla or supported modded crops.
Can I customize markers for just one specific crop type?
Yes, the config file allows you to set individual marker colors and animation settings for each crop type. You can leave other crops at their defaults while customizing just the ones you want.
Will this mod cause lag or performance issues?
The mod is lightweight and client-side only, so it has minimal performance impact. Rendering a few markers above crops uses very little resources compared to other visual mods.
How do I know which crops are supported?
All vanilla crops (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, and nether wart) are supported by default. For modded crops, check if they extend the CropsBlock class—if they do, they should work automatically.
