How to Enable Full Brightness in Your World

Once the pack is in your resource pack list, you still need to activate it for the world you're playing in. Resource packs are applied per-world or globally, so make sure you select it in the right place.

Applying the Pack

1. From the main menu, open Options, then Resource Packs.

2. Find the pack in the Available column on the left.

3. Click it (or the arrow) to move it to the Selected column on the right.

4. Click Done. The game reloads textures and lighting immediately.

If you're already inside a world, open the pause menu, go to Options → Resource Packs, and do the same. The change applies without restarting.

Checking It Worked

Walk into an unlit area — a cave, a sealed room, or outside at night. If everything is visible without placing a torch, the pack is active. If it's still dark, the pack isn't selected, or another pack is sitting above it in the list and overriding its lightmap.

Pack Order Matters

If you run multiple packs, the one higher in the Selected list wins for any files they share. Drag Full Brightness to the top so its lightmap takes priority over any other pack that changes lighting.
