It provides an item filtering system with a simple menu, designed to be used by other mods like FTB Quests that need to sort or check items. On its own it doesn't do much, but it offers an API for other mods to connect with.

It adds a single item called the Smart Filter. You right-click it to open its configuration menu.

Right-click the Smart Filter to open its menu, then use the buttons on the right to manage filters. Click "Add..." to pick a filter type, then "Configure..." or double-click it to change settings, and click "Done" to save.

Hold the configured Smart Filter in your main hand and the item you want to test in your off-hand, then sneak and right-click. You'll see a success or failure message in chat.

You can match items based on specific details like NBT data, durability, item tags, or the mod they come from. You can also combine multiple filters into a single compound filter for advanced sorting rules.

Yes, you can set up certain filters by dragging items directly from JEI into the menu.

Open the Smart Filter menu and click "Delete" to remove any filter you no longer need.
