Use Reach Around Placement to Build Faster
What Reach Around Placement Does
Reach Around Placement allows you to place blocks in front of you without needing to look at the exact face of the target block. This works similarly to Bedrock Edition's placement system, letting you build more fluidly and place blocks in tight spaces.
How to Enable It
1. Open your mod configuration.
2. Find the Reach Around Placement option and enable it.
3. Save and reload your game.
Building with Reach Around Placement
Once active, you can:
- Hold a block in your hand and aim generally toward where you want to build
- Place blocks in front of you even when you can't see the exact surface
- Build against walls or in corners without awkward camera angles
- Construct pillars or structures faster by placing blocks forward instead of up
Tips
This feature is most useful for:
- Building walls and structures quickly
- Placing blocks in confined spaces
- Reducing the need to reposition your camera constantly
- Bridging gaps without looking down at each block
The placement still respects collision rules—you can't place blocks inside yourself or where they'd overlap with entities.
