Frostbyte’s Maximum Mobility Mod FAQ

Step Up is enabled by default, but you can toggle it in the mod's config file. Once active, you'll automatically climb up single blocks without needing to jump—just walk into them.

Step Up only climbs one block at a time and feels responsive, while autojump can climb multiple blocks in a row and feels sluggish. Step Up gives you more control and is smoother for platforming.

After you walk or fall off a block, you have a brief window to jump before hitting the ground—this is Coyote Time. It makes platforming feel more forgiving and less punishing for small mistakes.

Yes, Coyote Time duration is fully customizable in the config file, so you can make the window shorter or longer depending on your preference.

Reach Around Placement lets you place blocks in front of you without turning around, similar to bedrock mode, and works with most standard blocks. Some special blocks may have placement restrictions based on their normal rules.

With Elytra Canceling enabled, tap jump while flying to stop mid-flight and start falling. This is faster than waiting to land naturally.

Yes, when Boat Step Up is enabled, boats will climb blocks the same way rideable mobs do, making water travel over terrain much smoother.

Yes, every feature in the mod is toggleable through the config file, so you can keep only the mechanics you want and disable the rest.

The mod works on multiplayer servers, but all players need the mod installed for the features to work consistently. Server-side settings are not enforced by default.

The mod is lightweight and shouldn't cause noticeable performance drops, but if you experience issues, try disabling features you don't use in the config.
