Enable Coyote Time to Jump After Walking Off a Ledge

What Coyote Time Does

Coyote Time lets you jump for a brief moment after you walk or fall off a block, even though you're no longer touching ground. This mimics platformer game mechanics and prevents frustrating deaths from slight miscalculations.

How to Enable It

1. Open your mod configuration file (usually found in .minecraft/config/ or through your mod launcher's config menu).

2. Locate the Frostbyte's Maximum Mobility settings.

3. Find the Coyote Time option and set it to true or enable it.

4. If available, you can adjust the grace period duration—higher values give you more time to jump after leaving a block.

5. Save the config and restart your game or reload chunks.

Using Coyote Time

Once enabled, simply walk off a platform or block edge. You'll have a small window of time to press jump and recover. This is especially useful when:

  • Navigating narrow bridges
  • Escaping mobs near cliffs
  • Correcting mistakes during parkour sequences
  • Building or exploring without constantly falling to your death

The feature works seamlessly with vanilla Minecraft movement—no special keybinds required.
