Understanding Mount Protection

The mod fixes a common issue where mounted riders and wargs would suffocate when riding through tight spaces or take excessive fall damage from short drops. These fixes are applied automatically—no configuration needed.

Riding Through Tight Spaces

You can now safely ride your mount through narrow passages, doorways, and tunnels without the rider suffocating inside solid blocks. This makes traversing fortifications and underground passages much more practical when mounted.

Fall Damage Adjustments

Mounts and their riders receive more forgiving fall damage calculations. Short drops that would previously cause rapid health loss are now survivable. This doesn't make mounts invincible, but it prevents frustrating deaths from minor falls.

Custom Mount Speed Settings

Beyond protection, the mod lets you adjust how fast your mounts travel. Configure speed settings to match your preference—whether you want faster travel across open terrain or slower, more controlled movement in combat situations. Health bar displays for mounts are also cleaner and easier to read during rides.
