Tame Frieren or Mistress Frieren as a Companion

Finding the Taming Item

Both Frieren and Mistress Frieren require a trapped chest to tame. Gather or craft a trapped chest and have it in your inventory.

Taming Process

1. Locate a Frieren or Mistress Frieren companion in your world (they spawn naturally or can be summoned depending on your setup)

2. Hold the trapped chest in your hand

3. Right-click on the companion to initiate taming

4. Once tamed, the companion will follow you and respond to your commands

Managing Multiple Companions

If you installed both frieren.json and mistressfrieren.json, you can tame and use both versions simultaneously as separate girls. Each will have their own inventory and behavior settings. If you're using the single-girl setup with swappable outfits, you'll only have one companion active at a time, but can toggle their appearance by switching which resource pack is active in your resource pack menu.
