Which Modded Mobs Does Freshly Modded Resource Pack Animate?
A common question after installing is simply: what actually changes? Freshly Modded extends Fresh Animations' expressive style to entities added by mods, but coverage depends on which mods the pack supports and which ones you have installed.
How Coverage Works
The pack targets modded entity models and applies the same animation philosophy as Fresh Animations: livelier idling, smoother walking, more natural head and body movement. It does not add new mobs or change stats. If a mod's creature uses a custom model the pack doesn't include, it keeps its default animation.
Finding Out What's Covered
- Spawn or encounter mobs from each of your creature-heavy mods and observe them side by side with vanilla animals.
- Compare a modded mob's walk cycle to a vanilla cow or villager; if it moves with similar fluidity, it's covered.
- Check the pack's file structure for entity folders matching your mods' namespaces to confirm support.
If a Mob Isn't Animated
Not every mod is supported, and new mods get added over time. Unsupported mobs simply render normally. You can't force coverage from the player side, so treat the pack as a bonus layer rather than a guarantee for every entity in a heavily modded pack.
