Combining Freshly Modded Resource Pack With Other Animation and Texture Packs
Many players run several visual packs at once and want Freshly Modded to play nicely with all of them. The key is understanding that it only touches modded entity animations, so it rarely conflicts with terrain, GUI, or item packs.
Safe Combinations
Texture packs for blocks, items, and GUI almost never clash with Freshly Modded because they affect different assets. You can stack those freely. The risk comes from other packs that modify entity models or animations, since two packs editing the same mob will fight.
Ordering Rules
- Keep Fresh Animations above Freshly Modded.
- Place Freshly Modded above generic texture packs so its entity files win where they overlap.
- Put specialized single-mob animation packs either above or below depending on which look you prefer, then test.
Testing Your Stack
Enable everything, then walk through a world with both vanilla and modded mobs. Watch for flickering, missing limbs, or frozen poses, which signal a conflict. Disable packs one at a time to isolate the offender.
Performance Note
More animation packs mean more work for your client. If you notice stutter around large mob groups, trimming overlapping animation packs usually helps more than removing texture packs.
