Fixing Player Animations That Are Not Showing Up
Rule Out Pack Order First
Most "animations missing" cases are ordering problems. In Options → Resource Packs, the Player Extension must be the topmost pack, with the base Fresh Animations pack directly beneath it. Any pack above the extension that edits player models will hide the animations. Drag the extension to the top and reload with F3 + T.
Check for Conflicting Packs
Packs that change player models, skins, capes, or armor rendering commonly conflict. Temporarily disable all other packs except the base Fresh Animations and the extension, then test. If animations appear, re-enable your other packs one at a time to find the culprit, and keep the extension above it.
Confirm the Base Pack Is Present
The extension depends on the base Fresh Animations pack. If you only installed the extension, player animations will not run. Make sure both are enabled and that the base pack is not marked outdated for your game version.
Verify You Are Looking at the Right Thing
Use third-person view (F5) or watch another player. First-person view shows only your arm and held item, so most body animations are invisible there. Test walking, sprinting, sneaking, and attacking — each has its own animation.
If It Still Fails
- Reload with F3 + T, then fully restart the game.
- Confirm the pack matches your game version.
- Test in a fresh world with no other packs to isolate the issue.
