How to Set Up and Use Tripod Camera Spots

Placing a Tripod

The tripod system lets you park a fixed camera at a specific spot and return to it later. While freecam is active, fly the camera to the exact position and angle you want to save. Then use the tripod keybind to place a tripod there. The mod stores both the location and the direction the camera was facing, so the view is reproduced exactly when you switch back to it.

You can place more than one tripod, which is useful for comparing several angles of a large build or monitoring different areas of a base.

Switching Between Tripods

Once you have one or more tripods saved, use the cycle keybind to jump the camera between them. Each press moves your viewpoint to the next stored tripod, letting you flip through your saved angles quickly without flying manually each time.

If a tripod is no longer needed, there is a keybind to remove the current one. Check your Controls menu for the exact tripod place, cycle, and remove bindings, since these are separate from the main freecam toggle. Tripods are handy for screenshots, build reviews, and keeping an eye on a farm or redstone contraption from a fixed vantage point while your player stands safely elsewhere.
