Navigating Subgroups in the Creative Inventory

Finding Subgroups

When a mod uses Fractal, its creative inventory tab will display subgroup navigation on the left side of the inventory window. These appear as clickable tabs or buttons.

Switching Between Subgroups

1. Open your creative inventory

2. Navigate to a mod's tab that uses Fractal

3. Look for the subgroup tabs on the left edge

4. Click any subgroup tab to filter the items displayed

5. The main inventory area updates to show only items from that subgroup

Understanding the Layout

Each subgroup typically contains related items — for example, one subgroup might hold decorative blocks while another holds tools. This organization helps you find what you need faster than scrolling through a massive list.

Tips

• Subgroups are optional; you can still see all items by selecting an "All" or default subgroup if available
• The number of subgroups varies by mod — some may have just two or three, others use the full twelve available
• Subgroup names are set by the mod developer and reflect the category of items inside
