Do I need to do anything to activate this data pack?
No—once installed, the data pack is active immediately. Ancient Debris will drop Netherite Scraps directly the next time you break a block in that world.
How much does Fortune actually increase my drops?
Fortune works the same way it does on other ores: each level of Fortune gives you a chance to multiply the number of scraps you receive per block broken, with higher levels giving better odds.
Can I still get the Ancient Debris block itself?
Yes—use a Silk Touch pickaxe to mine Ancient Debris and it will drop as a block instead of scraps, letting you move or store it.
Do I still need to smelt Netherite Scraps after mining?
No, the data pack skips smelting entirely. You get Netherite Scraps directly when you break the block, so you can combine them with Gold immediately.
Does this work with other enchantments like Efficiency or Unbreaking?
Yes, you can combine Fortune with Efficiency, Unbreaking, and other pickaxe enchantments on the same tool—they all work together normally.
What if I'm playing on a server—does everyone need the data pack installed?
Only the server needs the data pack installed; players connecting to it will experience the changes automatically without installing anything themselves.
Can I disable this data pack without deleting it?
