Floralis FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

What does the Floralis Mod do?
Floralis adds cactus and flower crops so you can farm all dye colors instead of searching for them. It is designed to work with automation mods.
How do you get dyes in Floralis?
Breaking a fully grown crop drops a petal of its color, and drying that petal in a furnace gives the matching dye. You can also store excess dye in dye blocks.
Where do Floralis flowers and cacti spawn?
Cactus crops spawn in desert-type biomes, while flower crops spawn in any other biome. They appear in small color-sorted patches every few chunks.
How do you get Floralis seeds?
Breaking a crop drops one seed of its color and plant type, and a fully grown crop drops one extra seed plus a petal and a plant fiber. You can also get seeds from villager farmers.
How do you plant Floralis seeds?
Cactus seeds go on sand and flower seeds go on dirt, while farmland works for both. Harvesting with shears or a silk touch tool drops the plant itself so you can place it or put it in a flower pot.
What are plant fibers used for in Floralis?
Plant fibers can be used like bone meal or as fertilizer with third party mods.
Can Floralis crops be automated?
Yes, the mod is built for automation and works with machines like the Forestry Multi Farm, Immersive Engineering Garden Cloche, Industrial Foregoing Plant Sower and Plant Gatherer, and Thermal Expansion Phytogenic Insulator.
Can you disable Floralis world generation?
Yes, the config file lets you enable or disable natural spawning of flowers and cacti, toggle village fields, and adjust rarity and density.
Do Floralis plants spawn in villages?
Flower and cactus fields can generate in villages, and this can be toggled per village type in the config.
What Minecraft versions does Floralis support?
Floralis is available for Forge and NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.10, 1.21.11, 26.1, 26.1.1, 26.1.2, and 26.2.
