Render a Mob or Entity as an Icon

Capture Mobs as Images

Generate clean, flat icons of mobs and entities for documentation or texture packs.

1. Open chat and type /render mob <mob_id>

2. Replace <mob_id> with the mob's registry name (for example: creeper, zombie, iron_golem)

3. Press Enter to render

4. The mod captures the mob in an orthographic view and saves it

Customizing Mob Renders

Mobs render in their default state. If you need specific variants (like a charged creeper or baby zombie), you may need to spawn that variant nearby and use region capture instead. The flat isometric angle works well for creating consistent mob reference sheets.

File Organization

Each mob export saves with a descriptive filename. Use /render open to access your export folder and manage your mob icon library. These images work great for wikis, guides, or custom resource packs.
