How to Change Your Cursor in Cursors Extended Mod

Opening the Cursor Settings

Once the mod is installed, you configure cursors through the in-game settings rather than a separate config file. Open the pause menu, go to Options, then look for the Cursors Extended entry (or open it directly through Mod Menu if you use that loader). From here you get a live preview list of every cursor the mod ships with, plus any resource packs you have loaded.

Applying a Cursor

1. Click the cursor you want in the list to preview it.

2. Confirm or apply so it becomes your active cursor.

3. Hover over different UI elements — buttons, sliders, text fields — to see the adaptive variants swap in automatically.

If a cursor does not change when you hover something, that context simply has no dedicated variant assigned, so the mod falls back to your chosen default. You can switch back to the vanilla arrow at any time from the same menu. Changes apply immediately, so you do not need to restart the game after picking a new cursor.

Keeping It Consistent

Your selection is saved per profile, so different worlds or instances can use different cursors if you want. If you later add a resource pack that provides cursors, they appear in the same list and can be mixed with the built-in ones.
