Find and Loot Hidden Chests

Locate Ruins in the Wasteland

Hidden chests are scattered throughout broken buildings and small cobblestone structures in the wasteland. Look for partially destroyed buildings, rubble piles, and areas with Iron Golems standing guard. These locations often conceal valuable loot.

Break Through to Hidden Compartments

Use a pickaxe to carefully dismantle rubble and blocked passages. Some chests are intentionally hidden behind walls or under debris. Work methodically through ruins, checking every corner and enclosed space. Listen for the sound of items or watch for glints of metal indicating chest locations.

Gather Supplies Efficiently

When you find a chest, loot it completely but manage your inventory carefully. Prioritize rare items and materials you need for survival. If a chest is too far from the Sanctuary to carry everything, make multiple trips or establish a temporary storage point.

Return Safely with Loot

Once you've gathered supplies, head back to the Sanctuary before nightfall or if zombie hordes appear. Store valuable items in chests at your base to prevent losing them if you die. Use landmarks and torches you've placed to navigate back reliably.
